Welcome to Treasury Thursday!
I had so much fun creating my last Etsy Treasury that I thought I might start a new feature on this blog. This week's treasury is called "The Birds are Back in Town," a tribute to one of my favorite animals.
Have you seen any robins yet? I have not. I did hear a strange and new song being sung in my neighborhood on Monday. However, identifying bird songs is not my strong suit. I should get one of those books that have buttons you can push and little recordings built in!
Another sign of spring: the crocuses are back! A few have popped up in my front yard.
Happy Spring! Get out there and enjoy the great outdoors!
See you again soon!
great treasury list - don't you find them super long to create though - last time I wanted to create one I found I had to enter every listing number and I couldn't figure out how to go back and forth to get all the numbers - any tips
ReplyDeleteBtw - thanks for your post - love finding out that many of us think alike
Hi, Cathy: Thanks for stopping by! Yes, I do find treasuries long to create--which is why I rarely do them!
ReplyDeleteI don't know where those listing numbers are--I've never used them! I just cut and pasted the URL. Here's a URL, for e.g. I just noticed a number in it, and I wonder if that could be the listing number? http://www.etsy.com/listing/79014340/cherry-blossom-tree-nature-photography?ref=fp_treasury_8
I usually just keep my treasury open in one browser tab, and then use other tabs for the various listings. Hope that helps!
(P.S. Oh my...I haven't blogged in a month...see what I mean?)
the birds are back in town:)
ReplyDeleteI like that.....and now the bees
and butterflies have joined them
and the whole place is buzzing and humming
and blooming and behaving all summery and bright!
Hope you're enjoying these growing lighter and longer
days, dear Sandra:)
big warm hug,
Jennifer
Always happy to see you, and the birds and the bees and butterflies. I have been working at night and sleeping a lot in the day but this should turn around at the end of this week. I look forward to swimming in cool mountain streams.
DeleteHugs back--
Sandra
I love the bird treasury. I have not done one yet. Glad you are doing well on Etsy. Your work is very good. Keep it up.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Susan! I haven't done a treasury since this one (blush). Thanks, too, for the encouragement. I will be posting soon and updating everybody on what I've been up to.
Deletehey there, friend,
ReplyDeletejust stopped by to check and see what's new
with you:)
sending love,
Jennifer
Eeek! Somehow I didn't reply to this--I always appreciate when you stop by, though!
DeleteXOXO
hi Sandra, thanks for stopping by the postcard challenge. I won't be doing the same challenge next year. But it is never too late to join in with this one. you can start with the latest country, or go back and do them from the beginning, it is up to and there is no pressure.
ReplyDeleteIf you click on the postcard tab on my blog ( its just under the header picture) you will see the outline for the chllenge and a list of the countries so far.
New country gets posted on sunday or monday...and we all link up with our cards on Fridays.

Darcy, Thank you for visiting! I may still jump in as I find the idea irresistible. I too love the Griffin and Sabine books--I remember when they first came out and this was way before I got into mixed media work!
DeleteTake care,
Sandra
Happiness, and spring! I long for it, but still LOTS of snow around here! :-)
ReplyDeleteHello Hanna--I'm so happy you dropped by!
ReplyDeleteAll our snow has melted and there are little green shoots coming up. However, it's not really what you'd call warm, yet!
Here's to warmer days and sunshine!
You have got me thinking about spring in a big way with all these birds and crocuses!
ReplyDeleteHi, Carolyn: Thank you for stopping by!
ReplyDeleteI'm still waiting for those crocuses to come back this year. I think the dead grass has buried them. :( I am hearing birds in the a.m. again, though!
